I'm Leah Breese, an Endorsed Registered Midwife based in Perth, Western Australia, and the founder of Peaceful Pathways Midwifery.

My proficiency lies in physiological pregnancy, labour, and birth. I am passionate about protecting normal birth, respecting each person’s autonomy, and providing skilled, individualised care that promotes maternal and neonatal wellbeing. My postgraduate training through a Master of Midwifery, together with experience across a range of community maternity settings, has shaped my approach to providing safe, personalised, and relationship-based care.

I provide private midwifery homebirth services north and south of the river, including those seeking a vaginal birth after caesarean. I have also undertaken additional training in physiological vaginal breech birth and am committed to improving access to evidence-based breech care. I provide personalised education, counselling, and continuity of care, ensuring you receive balanced information and genuine support to make informed decisions about your pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

As an Endorsed Registered Midwife, I am qualified to provide comprehensive maternity care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic investigations, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals when required. My approach combines advanced clinical knowledge with compassionate, relationship-based care, allowing families to feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their journey.
